Moses is the Managing Partner of the Firm. Moses has specialized knowledge and experience in diverse areas of corporate and commercial law, banking and international finance, securities law, international trade, international taxation, and administrative law. Moses has worked for the Kenyan Government under the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs where he advised on legislative development following the enactment of Constitution of Kenya in 2010. Through his experience in the public sector, he built a strong profile in corporate governance and finance, regulation, policy advisory and forged networks at high level giving him a strategic edge in corporate and public sector practice.
He has supported the Kenya Pipeline Corporation in commercial matters and dispute resolution relating to financing of pipeline expansion, a USD 50 Million Project; the County Government of Mombasa in debt management and financing to Desalination of Water, provided transactional advisory in relation Agricultural Financing to a major investment by a US Fund in Tanzania. He has also advised KPMG in Corporate Governance. Moses has advised KLM in relation to labour relations matters and worked with international NGOs in diverse issues including regulatory compliance, labour, immigration, and tax. Moses is retained by the Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation to advise and litigate on bank resolution matters, depositors, creditors rights and consumer protection. Moses has represented corporate entities and individuals in investigations by government regulatory agencies. Moses has wide experience in constitutional development, law reform, election law and dispute resolution.
Moses Owuor has LLM from the University of London specializing on Financial Law, Securities Regulations and Corporate Governance, Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and LLB from the University of London. Moses’ post graduate studies focused on International Financial Regulation, Corporate Governance, Capital Markets, Securities Law and International Trade and Economic Law.
