Faith Odhiambo is the incumbent President of the Law Society of Kenya. Faith Odhiambo is a leading corporate practice and commercial dispute resolution practitioner. Faith has experience in commercial, corporate and competition law and has gained experience working with the Competition Authority of Kenya and various law firms, she also serves as a lecturer at the Private Law Department of the University of Nairobi. Faith is a Chartered Arbitrator and a member of the Kenya Association of Chartered Secretaries.
Faith is prolific in matters involving competition and commercial law. She has worked with and advised Kenya Competition Authority, advised the Ethiopian Trade Competition and Consumer Protection Authority (TCCPA) on developing framework for dealing with sector regulators and handling consumer complaints, involved in developing regulatory framework for cooperation with the Competition Authority of Kenya and other sector regulators.
She was part of the team that worked closely with the Communications Authority of Kenya in developing a framework for spectrum management and was also part of the team which assisted in the preparation of the Product Market Review report to analysis the competition concerns in the various sectors of the economy in Kenya. She has extensive experience in commercial law and has been involved in advising regulators, local and foreign companies. She is the current Vice President of the Law Society of Kenya.
